Adams Idea A3 Hybrid Irons Review

The Adams Idea A3 Hybrid Irons feature the Boxer Hybrids, Hollow-back irons and cavity-back irons giving you one of the most game improving irons sets available.

The Adams Idea A3 Irons come with a 3, 4 and 5 hybrid which are much easier to hit for most golfers then traditional irons. They are designed to provide maximum distance while also having great forgiveness which is sure to benefit the long game of most golfers.

The 6 and 7 iron are hollow-back irons which make them easy to hit and provide more consistent accuracy.

The 8, 9 and PW irons are cavity back irons which give them higher playability while still providing forgiveness on off-center hits.

With the mix of hybrids, hollow-back and cavity back irons this set is great for golfers looking for more accuracy while still maintaining good length which is why they were named to the Golf Digest 2008 HotList. The Adams Idea A1 Hybrid Irons come in either steel or graphite shafts and regular and stiff flex.

  1. After hitting a bucket of range balls to get familiar with this club, it has added an additional 15 to 20 yards per drive while keeping the ball in the fairway.

these clubs hit way too high for my liking i have been told to slow down my swing but i like to give the ball a bit of grunt probably not the best buy ever

I originally had a set of a3 irons – 2 iron to PW. After trading up to the a7′s I am now thinking of going back to the a3′s. There’s just something about having the three to five iron hybrids and the 6 and 7 irons to fill in the gap between the hybrids and 8 iron thru pw nicely. I can hardly wait to get them back…can compare the hybrids to the a7 2 iron I will be using with the set! The only con is again the 3, 4, and 5 iron hybrids but if you can swallow your pride, as I can, you will get the most from this excellent set! And if the pros have an open mind to this set, why not us?
